Built in Ohio. Backed by a Process.
One of the largest roofing operations in the state - still run like the roof being worked on is the only one that matters.
Where Legacy Started
Legacy Roofing was founded in [YEAR] in [CITY/AREA]. [1–2 sentences: who started it and what problem they set out to solve.] [Sentence: early years - first crews, first market.]
[Optional: one milestone worth naming - a defining project, a turning-point year, an acquisition.]
What grew from there wasn’t just headcount. Today Legacy operates from four offices - Akron, Bath Township, Columbus, and North Ridgeville - with [#]+ team members, [#]+ service calls a year, [#]+ sq ft under warranty across Northern and Central Ohio.
From Residential Roots to Commercial Focus
Legacy earned its name on residential roofs - and homeowner work taught the company the habits commercial clients now depend on: show up when you said you would, document what you find, and stand behind the work after the invoice is paid.
As Ohio building owners started asking for the same reliability at commercial scale, Legacy grew to meet them. Today the company is one of the largest commercial roofing operations in the state - repairs, maintenance programs, inspections, and full replacements for single buildings and multi-property portfolios - while Ohio homeowners continue to get the same certified crews and manufacturer-backed warranties they always have.
The Proven Process, In Short
Every Legacy project - any size - moves through the same three phases.
Assessment
It starts on your roof, not on the phone. We walk the building and document the membrane, seams, flashing, drainage, and penetrations, then explain what we found in plain language, with photos of your actual building.
Reviewed Scope & Proposal
Before a proposal reaches you, the people who will execute the work review it - operations on every replacement scope, our service manager on every repair plan. Surprises get caught at the table, not mid-project.
Execution & Follow-Through
Pre-construction planning, a morning email every workday, one accountable field contact, and same-day written change orders if the roof surprises us. Then warranty inspections after the work is done - because the completed roof is the start of the relationship, not the end.
What Our Credentials Actually Require
Logos are easy to display and hard to interpret. Here’s what stands behind ours.
Elevate Inner Circle of Quality
An invitation-only tier for a small group of Elevate contractors nationwide. Requires audited installation quality, sustained volume, and a clean warranty-claim record. It means our installs are checked by the manufacturer - not just by us.
Carlisle Top-Tier Partner
Carlisle’s recognition for installers whose inspected work scores in the top tier year after year. It’s the credential that unlocks the strongest warranties Carlisle offers.
Versico Top-Tier Partner
Awarded on inspection scores and warranty performance across every Versico system we install.
CertainTeed SELECT ShingleMaster
CertainTeed’s highest residential credential, held by a small fraction of roofing companies and requiring certified installers and ongoing training. Your home gets the same certified discipline as a distribution center.
Owens Corning & Johns Manville
